Poland Travel deals | First and most important tip

The first thing you need to consider before traveling to Poland is choosing the right date. By choosing the right season or month, you can save a lot of money right away! Many people choose July or August to visit Poland. These are the months when not only foreigners travel around Poland, but also all Polish people with children are on vacation! As a result, prices go up significantly and you may have trouble booking a good hotel at a reasonable price or a table at a good restaurant. So if you love beautiful weather and want to save some money, choose the end of May or the first half of June. The weather in June is already very stable, with temperatures around 20-25 degrees Celsius during the day and around 15-20 degrees Celsius in the evenings. The whole of Poland is incredibly green and blooming, and in terms of nature, May and June are the most beautiful months to visit Poland! Not only are prices lower because it is not yet high season, but the weather is also more favorable for sightseeing. We strongly encourage you to choose the end of May or the beginning of June. If you want to save even more money and have perfect weather for sightseeing, September is an even better month to travel around Poland! At that time, practically only university students travel around Poland. Prices are much lower, and you can explore Poland in peace, quiet, and without the heat. You can read more about the weather in Poland in our article dedicated to this topic here

Poland Travel Deals | Hotels at a good price

If you have already decided when you will arrive in Poland (we hope you have chosen May, June, or September!) and have already purchased your plane tickets to Poland, the next step is to choose your accommodation. Of course, the most well-known website is booking.com, where you will find a large database of hotels in all Polish cities. What is more, if you are planning a stay in the mountains, by the sea or anywhere else in nature, booking.com also offers a huge database of cottages, agritourism farms and guest houses. If you want to find guest houses in nature run by wonderful hosts, we wholeheartedly recommend SlowHop, where you will find the most wonderful people running beautiful guest houses. When it comes to savings and the best deals on hotels in Poland, we definitely recommend searching for accommodation on Google Maps. If you are interested in a particular region or part of a city, it is worth checking all the available options on the map and sending emails to inquire about prices. Very often, prices on websites such as booking.com are higher because owners have to pay the website around 17% of the rental amount, so the price for the customer automatically goes up. Looking for accommodation on your own (Google Maps and emailing hotels) will definitely take more time, but if you plan to stay in Poland for several days and can save, let's say, even $20 a day, overall you will save a lot of money that you can spend on souvenirs for example! Our last piece of advice, with a little self-promotion thrown in, is to choose a travel agency that can not only select the best accommodation options, but also has discounts that will allow you to pay roughly the same amount (paying the travel agency 10% for organization and assistance), while still receiving on-site support.

Poland Travel Deals | Attractions for free

Are there any free attractions in Poland? Of course there are! You just need to know when to go to a given place, and you can see many beautiful museums and other attractions completely free of charge! Let's start with the most visited place in Poland, the Auschwitz Museum. Free admission tickets for visitors without a guide are available exclusively online at the official website visit.auschwitz.org. They are not available at the Museum. Tickets can be booked between 90 and 7 days before the planned date of visit. We encourage you to read the article about the Auschwitz Museum, where we have specified the hours during which you can visit the museum free of charge. In Krakow, you can see the Main Market Square with the Cloth Hall and St. Mary's Basilica for free. On Tuesdays, you can also visit the underground passages beneath the Market Square and the Cloth Hall free of charge. A tour of Wawel Cathedral (without the Sigismund Bell and the royal tombs) is also free of charge. On Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., you can visit the Jagiellonian University Museum free of charge. On Sundays, you can visit Jan Matejko's house on Floriańska Street with its exhibits, as well as Józef Mehoffer's house on Krupnicza Street, free of charge. On Sundays, you can visit the Royal Castle in Warsaw completely free of charge. During the winter season, the castle is open from 10:50 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and in summer from 10:50 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Inside, you can see exhibitions of the most famous Polish paintings. A trip around Toruń is best started at the Nicolaus Copernicus monument. The town hall can be visited free of charge on Wednesdays (permanent exhibitions). On the same day, you can visit the Museum of the History of Toruń in the Esken House on Łazienna Street free of charge. The same applies to the Tenement House under the Star (on the Market Square) and the Tony Halik Travelers' Museum on Franciszkańska Street. These are just some of the attractions that you can see in Poland completely free of charge! As you can see, if you plan your trip around Poland properly, you can save a lot of money. Of course, planning and searching for information about free admission is time-consuming, especially if you don't know the language. And here again, we come with a proposal. We can organize the entire trip for you and save you the trouble. We invite you to fill out the form, which will help us prepare an offer for you :)

Poland Travel Deals | Transportation in and between cities

If you want to travel comfortably around Poland, there are several options to choose from. Private driver/taxi, bus, or train. Let's start with the bus. Once you land, you will need transportation to the hotel. Airports in Poland, especially in large cities, are located relatively close to the city centers, about 30-60 minutes by car, depending on traffic. The cheapest option to get to the city center is always the city bus. The fare is really symbolic, about $1. However, you will not get directly to your hotel this way. If you want to travel a little more comfortably, it is worth checking if there is a train from the airport. Then the journey will definitely be faster and more comfortable than by city bus, and still cheap. However, the best solution after a tiring flight is a car. Of course, you can rent a car at the airport and have it at your disposal, but if you want to explore big cities, we do not recommend this option. Polish cities are very crowded and there are few parking spaces in city centers. You can find out more about getting around Poland here. The best option would be to hire a driver in advance or find an Uber driver on site. If you would like to hire a driver from the airport and have a car with a driver at your disposal throughout your stay in Poland, we can help you with that. When it comes to traveling around Poland and moving between cities, we highly recommend trains! What's more, the price of a ticket can be really low if you book in advance on the official website: https://www.intercity.pl/en/ - the website is in English and buying a ticket is really easy. Trains are comfortable, fast and, in recent years, really reliable.
