Day 1

The first stop on our architectural tour of Poland is Krakow. It is a city full of legends, priceless monuments of architecture and art. It is also the historical capital of Poland with a center inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Architectural and urban complex of the old Kraków is ranked among the most important monuments of cultural heritage in the world. On the first day you will visit the Wawel Castle, the centuries-old seat of kings and a symbol of Polish statehood. From Wawel Castle it is not far to the Jewish quarter of Kazimierz. It is a unique district of Kraków and a place of great importance for Jewish culture. Kraków’s Kazimierz is home to seven synagogues, which lure visitors with their unique architecture and diverse interiors.

Day 2

On the second day of our trip you will have a chance to visit other beautiful parts of Krakow. Our guide will take you to places a little more distant from the center, but equally beautiful. You will visit the Benedictine Abbey, built on a Jurassic limestone hill called the Monastery Hill. The Bernardine Monastery is also one of the most important places of religious worship. What is more, it has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, so it is worth taking a closer look. The sanctuary consists of a basilica and monastery, located at the top of Żary Mountain. Nearby there are 42 chapels and churches, often called the Polish Jerusalem. For nature lovers, we have also prepared cycling routes to the Zakrzówek lagoon, to the Wolski Forest, to "Garden full of Lavender" or to the Będkowska Valley!

Day 3

The next day we will go to Zakopane, a beautiful mountain town where another architectural style developed. At the end of the 19th century wooden architecture developed in Zakopane in the so-called spa "Swiss" style. The Zakopane style was one of the results of the search for the national style, whose elements the artist saw in the culture and tradition of the highlanders. It is here that the highland cottage, in all its simplicity, survived as a relic of pre-Polish construction. It was on its model that the architecture was to play a unifying role for compatriots divided between the three partitions. The Zakopane style was called Polish and national and developed primarily in wooden architecture.

Day 4

This day will be an opportunity to get to know the old architecture, from the period when Poland experienced its glory days. The first city you will visit on the eastern wall of Poland is Sandomierz. We will start our tour at the Opatowska Gate, from where you can admire the surrounding panorama. Then we will go to the Sandomierz Market Square, whose town hall with its Renaissance attic is considered one of the most beautiful in Poland. We will also visit the Royal Castle, built by Casimir the Great, one of the most prominent Polish rulers in history. On the way to the Royal Castle we will visit St. Jacob's Church - one of the oldest brick churches in Poland. We will also go to Kazimierz Dolny, considered by many to be the most beautiful town in Poland!

Day 5

The next stops on our architectural tour will be 2 cities: Lublin and Zamosc. Lublin attracts tourists with its museums, monuments, traditional flavours and legends hidden in the streets, alleys and walls of the tenement houses. For centuries, Lublin has been a key city in the relations between Poland and Lithuania, united in 1569 by a union as the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth at the Sejm of both countries in Lublin. This took place within the walls of a castle dating from the time of Casimir the Great and destroyed as a result of the wars of the 17th century. Zamość, a city now inscribed on the UNESCO world heritage list, was built by a visionary in love with Italy - Great Crown Chancellor Jan Zamoyski. Surrounded by a ring of walls, Zamość was a real fortress city, never to be conquered!

Day 6

On this day we will go back in time to the deep Middle Ages. We will go to the region located north of Krakow, to the Krakow-Czestochowa Jurassic Highland! One of the biggest attractions of the Cracow-Czestochowa Jurassic Highlands are the castles and ancient fortresses, which were mostly built in the 14th century by Casimir the Great to defend the border areas. During the reign of Casimir the Great, many new brick buildings (town halls, churches, dwelling houses) were built in towns. They were safer than the earlier wooden structures, which could easily catch fire. The king cared about the security of the state, so he financed the construction of castles. To this day the ruins or fragments of castles rise up on the Jurassic hills like eagles' nests - hence the name of the main trail leading through Jura from castle to castle - the Eagles' Nests Trail.

Day 7

On the last day in Poland, everything will depend on your flight time! If your flight is in the evening, we will be able to organize a trip to the UNESCO-listed Wieliczka Salt Mine or to the Museum in Oswiecim, which is located on the site of a former concentration camp. Of course, you can also choose to stay in Krakow and take a leisurely stroll through the historic center, the Market Square or Kazimierz. You can also spend this time buying souvenirs, although we warn you that you will already have a lot of them from the places you will have visited before! In addition, there will be a surprise gift waiting for you from our team... At the end of your stay, we also invite you to have dinner to reminisce all the places visited during the tour!
